I lift up my eyes is a collection of premiere recordings forming a corpus of choral music composed over two years. The CD was recorded on Saturday 22 January 2011 in St Barnabas Cathedral (Derby Road, Nottingham) with the cathedral's Schola Cantorum, conducted by the composer.

It was officially launched on Saturday 28 May 2011 during a gala weekend of concerts and masses at the cathedral featuring Alex's music.
